happy mother's day

From Drop Box

dear mama,

i maybe far away from you today, but i am thinking of you everyday. everyday i thank the Lord how blessed I am to have you as my mother.i admire your strength, your faith in God and your patience with life. since you were young, life has been not easy but you never took it as a hindrance to succeed. you literally slave yourself just to get that diploma.

when you became a widow at a very young age, i never saw you weep. instead , i saw you pray more. even if we are struggling to pay our tuition fee at school you always put something in the offering envelope at church.wherever we go , you carry your Our Daily Bread(ODB) always and your bible. these 2 (church giving and reading ODB) i have adapted.but how i wish i can learn to adapt more of your pratices.

i pray to God always that you will have a healthy life. everyday i think of how i can make your life easier or better there in the Philippines. or how to make you happier.i dream of renovating your house. i dream of taking you to hongkong for shopping or playing in Disneyland. yes, i wish to give you a life that you never had when you were younger.

today ma, i wish i was there with you. i hope you are happy. may God continue to bless you and protect you always. i hope to see you soon.

your baby,

normita

ps.mama lost her dad at a very young age and her mum re married .she was left to her aunty whom she consider her mother. but because she can not afford to send her to college my mum worked in a store while studying. she gradutaed Bachelor in Commerce - Major in Accountancy. she was working since she was 15 and retired at 60. she is a great woman!
